Salamanca

Salamanca is one of the most beatiful and visited cities by young people in Spain, what are you waiting for to visit it?

It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988 and is noted for its monuments and for its university, the oldest in the country.

Monumental Salamanca

The Plaza Mayor of Salamanca is one of the most beautiful monumental urban squares in Europe. Most of Salamanca’s population gathers here every day. It is ideal for resting and enjoying one of the city’s great architectures.

When night falls, the evening light gives the monuments a special golden colour thanks to the stone with which they are built. Then, the nocturnal Salamanca opens up, full of life and youthful atmosphere.

A City with Plenty to Offer

It is no secret how good the food is in this city. Some of its typical products are sausages, Guijuelo ham or the popular hornazo -a pie filled with egg and ingredients such as pork loin, chorizo… -. You can buy it to take away… although eating it here is sure to taste even better.

Speaking of shopping, pedestrian streets Toro and Zamora are full of shops and in the Plaza del Liceo you can  even go shopping in the refurbished church of the former convent of San Antonio el Real.

University of Salamanca

It is the oldest university in Spain and the third oldest in Europe. It attracts millions of tourists every year. It is one of the most interesting places in the city.
