FEDELE en FITUR 2025
Once again, FEDELE, the Spanish Federation of Schools of Spanish as a Foreign Language, has had a very active participation in FITUR, the International Tourism Fair, held in Madrid from January 22 to 26, 2025
FITUR Lingua: a meeting point for the sector.
In this edition, FITUR Lingua has been a key space for the idiomatic tourism sector. FEDELE has played a leading role in this space, where the challenges and opportunities of the sector have been discussed, and valuable contacts have been created among schools, agencies, and other professionals.
FEDELE’s agenda in FITUR 2025
- FITUR Lingua: FEDELE has been involved in the organization of FITUR Lingua, collaborating in the design of a comprehensive program of activities, including conferences, roundtables, and market study presentations.
- Institutional relationships: FEDELE has held professionals encounter with representatives of various public institutions, as TURESPAÑA, Instituto Cervantes and other regional communities. These meetings have addressed issues such as the promotion of language tourism, the regulation of the sector and the collaboration between institutions and schools.
- Professional contacts: several professionals from the tourism sector have visited the FEDELE stand seeking collaborations with the Federation and its federated centers aim to add value to theirs academic offers.
FEDELE has positively valued its participation in FITUR 2025. The Federation has successfully strengthened its leadership in the sector, established valuable contacts, and showcased its work to a wider audience.
FEDELE will continue working in order to consolidate the language tourism as strategic sector to the Spanish economy. Among the Federation’s upcoming challenges are improving the quality of Spanish language education, promoting the language tourism abroad and collaborating with public institutions to create a regulatory framework suitable for the sector.

The presence of FEDELE in FITUR 2025 has had a wide impact in the media. Diverse press media, radio and television have echoed of FEDELE’s activities in the fair, highlighting the importance of language tourism and the role of FEDELE as a leader of the sector.
