The Encuentro Práctico for teachers of Spanish in Berlin, organised by the publishers Difusión together with International House Barcelona, is once again taking place in the Instituto Cervantes of the German capital.
The programme for the conference is as follows:
Friday 3rd June
- 10:30–11:30: Enrolment and presentation of documents
- 11:30–12:00: Opening
- 12:00–13:00: Flexible teaching for learners – Carles Monereo (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona). This presentation will include ideas on how to formulate aims, multi-level activities, multisensory material and the creation of work-groups attending to the identity of each learner, that is to say to the knowledge, understanding, strategies and feelings which are put into play when one is learning. 13:00–14:00: Lunch
- 14:00–15.30: Workshops
- 15:30–15:45: Break
- 15:45–17:15: Workshops
- 17:15–10:00: Presentation of Difusión’s new digital platform
- 18:00–19:00: Cultural space
Saturday 4th June
- 9:30–10:30: The challenge of teaching Spanish at university – Carmen Ramos (Hochschule für Angewandte Sprachen, München)
- 10:30–11:00: Coffee break
- 11:00–12:00: Apps for solving doubts: true or a trick? – Daniel Cassany (Universitat Pompeu Fabra)
These digital resources will be presented as a whole and we’ll see how the experts use them. Various practical strategies will be proposed to make the most of them. - 12:00–12:15: Break
