Castellón

A journey through Spain’s coastal customs without forgetting about its impressive nature… that is Castellón, a jewel to be found on Spain’s Mediterranean coast.

This city, which is part of the Comunidad Valenciana, offers a huge variety of options regarding to tourism.

Its Beaches

 Its coastline, with an extension of 120 kilometres, has beaches and coves bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, and natural spaces such as the archipelago of the Columbretes Islands, a natural park and marine reserve of volcanic origin. Along the coast, there are very touristy towns such as Benicarló, Peñíscola, Vinaròs, Oropesa del Mar and Alcossebre.

 It is located in the north of the Comunidad Valenciana, in the east of Spain and is identified with the Castellón Costa Azahar brand.

In total, you will have 16 coastal towns to discover, some of them as famous as Benicàssim, Benicarló or Oropesa del Mar.

In the various sailing clubs, nautical schools and marinas in Castellón, you can go sailing, scuba diving, canoeing or rent jet skis.

Ecosystems

Regarding to nature, one of the most touristy and beautiful places this city has has is none other than the thermal waters of Montanejos, a paradise that for years has shown that it can even act therapeutically on the people who come here… a real luxury to be discovered.

Rural Lovers

On a more rural note, we find the old quarter of the town of Peñíscola, full of flowers and plants that will make you breathe pure air while you visit its shops and local establishments. Finally, we have the Natural Park of the Desert of Las Palmas, an ideal place to spend the day and enjoy the environment while you walk and see animals, mountains and spectacular views everywhere.
