About the school

Formex, formerly known as MaestroMío, has over 45 years of experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Our history dates back to 1980, and over the decades we have built a strong track record in educating international students.

We are accredited by Instituto Cervantes and offer a wide range of high-quality Spanish programmes for individual students, as well as groups from schools, universities and other educational institutions.

Our highly qualified teaching team, with extensive experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language, is committed to providing a personalised and dynamic learning experience tailored to each student’s needs.

We currently have schools in Málaga and Madrid, both centrally located and well connected, where we combine high-quality teaching with an authentic immersion experience in the Spanish language and culture.
