Statement from the Spanish Federation of Associations of Spanish Language Schools for Foreigners in view of the armed conflicts that are currently taking place in the world

From the Spanish Federation of Associations of Spanish Language Schools for Foreigners, represented by its Governing board and by executive teams of their associated members, we expound an unanimous rejection to different wars and attacks that are taking place right now all around the world. The work carried out in our classrooms, beyond the learning of Spanish language, is to foster multicultural citizens in a global, open, accessible and inclusive world. This is why we reject any form of aggression in the domestic, local and territorial spheres. Violence, in any of its versions, should not be a solution to problems. Today’s conflicts show the most perverse side of humanity, but at the same time, they also reveal the great solidarity and empathy that today’s society has when it comes to unfair and disproportionate attacks against civilians and against people’s fundamental rights. From FEDELE we want to show our solidarity with the different peoples, families and those who are currently experiencing the brutality of human cruelty. We will continue to strive in our work to transmit values of peace, unity and respect for all cultures, religions, peoples and countries of the world.   For peace and the future of our world.
