{"id":3935,"date":"2018-09-12T14:26:27","date_gmt":"2018-09-12T14:26:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogenglish.fedele.org\/?p=491"},"modified":"2019-11-26T18:42:59","modified_gmt":"2019-11-26T18:42:59","slug":"4th-spanish-as-a-foreign-language-conference-in-riga","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fedele.org\/en\/4th-spanish-as-a-foreign-language-conference-in-riga\/","title":{"rendered":"4th Spanish as a Foreign Language Conference in Riga"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/fedele.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Riga.jpg\" alt=\"IV Jornadas de ELE en Riga\" width=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On the 27<sup>th<\/sup> and 28<sup>th<\/sup> October, the <strong>4<sup>th<\/sup> Spanish as a Foreign Language Conference in Riga<\/strong> will take place at the Academy of Culture of Latvia.<\/p>\n<p>The declared <strong>aim<\/strong> of the event, which can be seen on the conference webpage, is \u201cto create a meeting place for professionals involved in the teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language and to promote in-service training of teachers and the exchange of teaching experiences\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The organising committee is comprised of Ana Le\u00f3n Manzanero (Coordinator of the degree programme \u201cInter-cultural relations between Latvia and Spain\u201d at the Academy of Culture of Latvia) and Linda Ritmane (teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language at the high school R\u012bgas Valsts 3. \u0123imn\u0101zija).<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>aims<\/strong> of the conference are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To create a meeting place for professionals involved in the teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language.<\/li>\n<li>To promote the in-service training of teachers and the exchange of teaching experiences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The event is directed at teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language at all levels and also at university students and professionals of other areas who are interested in the teaching of languages.<\/p>\n<p>There are three different formats available for people interested in presenting their research or classroom experiences: lectures (academic content, 45 minutes), workshops and classroom experiences (practical content, 60 minutes).<\/p>\n<p>More information on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/jornadaseleriga\/\"><strong>event\u2019s Facebook <\/strong><\/a>and on their\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/jornadaseleriga.wordpress.com\/\"><strong>webpage<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Image copyright:<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/jlascar\/23677296756\">\u00a0<strong>Jorge L\u00e1scar<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On the 27th and 28th October, the 4th Spanish as a Foreign Language Conference in Riga will take place at the Academy of Culture of Latvia.
