{"id":3920,"date":"2018-05-01T10:21:25","date_gmt":"2018-05-01T10:21:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogenglish.fedele.org\/?p=454"},"modified":"2019-11-26T13:39:33","modified_gmt":"2019-11-26T13:39:33","slug":"2nd-meeting-universities-institutions-siele","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fedele.org\/en\/2nd-meeting-universities-institutions-siele\/","title":{"rendered":"FEDELE takes part in the 2nd Meeting of Universities and Institutions affiliated to SIELE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/fedele.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/FEDELE-SIELE.jpg\" alt=\"FEDELE en SIELE\" width=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A few weeks ago <strong>Mari Carmen Timor,<\/strong>\u00a0the president of FEDELE, and \u00a0<strong>David Trigo<\/strong><strong>,<\/strong> the manager, took part in the <em>2nd Meeting of Universities and Institutions affiliated to <\/em>FEDELE, an event entitled \u201cNew actions and challenges for the International Service for the Evaluation of the Spanish Language\u201d, which took place in Salamanca and was part of the celebrations of the 800th Anniversary of the University of Salamanca.<\/p>\n<p>Also attending the event were the Vice Chancellors of Academic Policy and Public Participation and of International Relations at the University of Salamanca, <strong>Enrique Cabero<\/strong> and <strong>Efrem Yildiz<\/strong>; the Director of the School of Spanish as a Foreign Language of the UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico), <strong>Roberto Casta\u00f1\u00f3n<\/strong>; the secretary for Academic Affairs at the University of Buenos Aires, <strong>Mar\u00eda Catalina Nosiglia<\/strong> and the Director of the Instituto Cervantes, <strong>Juan Manuel Bonet<\/strong>. Other participants in this international event included TED (Telef\u00f3nica Digital Education) a technology partner of SIELE and 80 representatives from more than 40 universities, 19 of which were Spanish and 20 from Latin America.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FEDELE<\/strong>\u00a0is lending its support to the SIELE evaluation system which in 2017 registered more than 4,500 enrolments from people of different nationalities, mainly from Mexico, Spain, Brazil and China.
