The symposium will take place on the 4<sup>th<\/sup> and 5<sup>th<\/sup> May.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>subjects<\/strong> to be addressed at the event are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Methodological approaches for SFL.<\/li>\n<li>Linguistics applied to the learning of SFL.<\/li>\n<li>ICT in SFL.<\/li>\n<li>Teaching materials for the SFL class.<\/li>\n<li>Language and culture in the SFL class.<\/li>\n<li>Rules and dialectal variations in the SFL class.<\/li>\n<li>Educational frameworks and teacher training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>APEQ<\/strong>, forms a part of the International Federation of Associations of Teachers of Spanish, <strong>FIAPE<\/strong>, and is already well-known for the events it organises in Canada.<\/p>\n<p>As they declare on their webpage, \u201cThe main objective of APEQ is to promote the Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language and information about Latin American civilisation at all levels of education, from primary school to university, through professional in-service training.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>People interested in taking part in the training days or in presenting a paper can find more information on <a href=\"https:\/\/apeq-quebec.com\/\"><strong>the association\u2019s webpage<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Photo copyright:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/53065763@N07\/6064194792\"><strong>Editerna<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Quebec Association of Teachers of Spanish (APEQ) have announced that the organisation of the 7th Symposium of Spanish as a Foreign Language is now underway, with the collaboration of Montreal University and the Education Attach\u00e9 of the Spanish Embassy in Canada.
