The event is organised by the Instituto Cervantes together with Princeton and Columbia Universities.<\/p>\n<p>The aims for the conference, according to the organisers, are twofold:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Firstly, to analyse the current situation of the teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language and how it has evolved in the last few years.<\/li>\n<li>Secondly, to establish a meeting place where teachers of Spanish can exchange ideas and experiences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <strong>programme <\/strong><strong>for the conference is as follows<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2028Friday 4th November<\/strong><br \/>\n16.00 \u2013 16.45h: Coffee, enrolment and distribution of material<br \/>\n16.45 \u2013 17.00h: Presentation of the conference<br \/>\n17.00 \u2013 19.00h: Where have we come from?
