\"ECELE<\/p>\n

The 7th ECELE<\/strong> conference will take place this year in Seville<\/strong> from the 14th to the 16th November. Heads of schools where Spanish is taught abroad will be meeting with representatives of FEDELE<\/strong> member schools.<\/p>\n

The series of Conferences for Spanish Language Schools is a result of the commitment shown by FEDELE<\/strong>,\u00a0Turespan\u0303a<\/strong>,\u00a0Turismo de Sevilla<\/strong>,\u00a0Diputacio\u0301n Provincial de Sevilla<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Turismo de Andaluci\u0301a<\/strong> to the Spanish as a Foreign Language sector and the promotion and commercialisation of language stays abroad, with a different target group in mind: teachers in schools abroad where Spanish is taught.<\/p>\n

The increase in Spanish<\/strong> as a third language (bearing in mind that English is the most popular second language worldwide) and its incorporation into state education in a great many countries means that Spanish teachers are well positioned to offer advice and guidelines to our schools.\u00a0 Private Spanish schools are able to provide a very valuable addition to the standard language courses available abroad by offering complementary full-immersion programmes.<\/p>\n

The conference includes a diverse programme of professional and cultural events:<\/p>\n

Monday, 14th November<\/strong>
\nArrival in Sevilla. Accommodation at the Hotel NH Plaza de Armas
\n18.30h: Legends of Sevilla, a walking tour of the city.
\n20.30h: Night visit to the Reales Alca\u0301zares with a cocktail in the salo\u0301n de los Tapices.<\/p>\n

Tuesday, 15th November<\/strong>
\n8.30 \u2013 9.00h: Accreditation of schools.
\n9.00 \u2013 9.30h: A welcome to the conference given by the collaborating institutions.
\n9.30 \u2013 10.10h: Presentation Spanish in Spain.
\n9.30 \u2013 9.45h: General presentation of Spanish courses in Spain \u2013 FEDELE.
\n9.45 \u2013 10.10h: Accreditation System for Spanish as a Foreign Language Schools – Instituto Cervantes.
\n10.30-11.30h: Presentation of all participants.
\n11.30 -14.30h: Presentation of FEDELE schools.
\n15.30 -17.30h: Teacher training workshop.
\n19.30h: Transport to Carmona. Dinner at the Alca\u0301zar de Carmona.<\/p>\n

Wednesday, 16th November<\/strong>
\n9.00 \u2013 12.30h: Getting to know the FEDELE schools. Personal appointments with the Heads of Schools and academic staff.
\n12.30 -13.00h: Break for visiting the stands: raffle of grants and teaching material.
\n13.00 \u2013 14.00h:\u00a0 Getting to know the FEDELE schools
\n15.30 \u2013 19.00h: A tour of Sevilla and visits to the schools.
\n20.30 \u2013 22.30h: Walk and dinner at the Taberna de Alabardero with a flamenco workshop.<\/p>\n
