\"SACIC\"<\/p>\n

Do you know about the Instituto Cervantes’ school accreditation system?\u00a0 SACIC<\/strong> is an accreditation process which leads to a signed agreement between the Instituto Cervantes and Spanish language schools promising a commitment to quality, international recognition and a platform for spreading information on an international level about the educational offers of the schools.<\/p>\n

The accreditation system is composed of a series of\u00a0 requirements which each school must fulfil:<\/p>\n

1. Initial accreditation:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The initial accreditation process for Spanish as a Foreign Language schools has various phases:<\/p>\n

a) Beginning the accreditation dossier and verification of all the required legal documents.
\nb) Gaining a favourable technical\/academic report
\nc) Signing of the accreditation contract<\/p>\n

Extension of the accreditation<\/strong><\/p>\n

The accreditation contract which leads to the school being recognised as accredited can be renewed every three years for a maximum of twelve years.\u00a0 The extension of the accreditation is written in terms established by the Instituto Cervantes\u00a0 according to the\u00a0 resolutions of the Board of Directors.<\/p>\n

The Instituto Cervantes has a group of evaluation<\/strong> bodies<\/strong> – the Universidad de Alcal\u00e1, the Universidad Nebrija, the Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid, the Universidad Rovira y Virgili, the Asociaci\u00f3n de Centros de Idiomas de Argentina (SEA) and the Instituto Cervantes itself.<\/p>\n

As is explained on the SACIC webpage<\/strong>, recognition of the school as an Instituto Cervantes accredited school implies the right to use the logo and the wording \u201c Centro Acreditado por el Instituto Cervantes\u201d.\u00a0 It also also leads to the school being advertised as an accredited school on the relevant part of the Instituto Cervantes webpage.<\/p>\n
