{"id":132,"date":"2015-09-14T14:15:33","date_gmt":"2015-09-14T14:15:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogenglish.fedele.org\/?p=132"},"modified":"2019-07-10T11:47:13","modified_gmt":"2019-07-10T11:47:13","slug":"the-new-ccse-tests-for-obtaining-spanish-nationality","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fedele.org\/en\/the-new-ccse-tests-for-obtaining-spanish-nationality\/","title":{"rendered":"The new CCSE tests for obtaining Spanish nationality"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/fedele.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/ccse.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2371\" src=\"https:\/\/fedele.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/ccse.png\" alt=\"ccse\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As has been reported in the press, from October there will be specific requirements for acquiring <strong>Spanish nationality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Firstly, it will be necessary to pass a test demonstrating a basic knowledge of the Spanish language: the DELE Spanish diploma, level A2 or higher.\u00a0 Secondly, there will be a test to demonstrate a knowledge of the Spanish constitution and the current social and cultural situation in Spain: the <strong>CCSE<\/strong> (<strong>Constitutional and socio-cultural knowledge of Spain<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>The CCSE tests will be held on the last Thursday of every month (except August and December) at a time given by the <strong>Instituto Cervantes<\/strong>.\u00a0 The test has been developed by the Instituto Cervantes and is made up of twenty-five multiple choice questions.<\/p>\n<p>Some questions will have three possible answers, only one of which is correct.\u00a0 Others will have a true\/false answer.\u00a0 The test will last 45 minutes and will be carried out in the modern-day Spanish spoken in Spain.<\/p>\n<p>The CCSE test will be held at schools recognised by the Instituto Cervantes.\u00a0 We will be giving more information about the list of schools on this blog when the definitive list has been drawn up.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As has been reported in the press, from October there will be specific requirements for acquiring Spanish nationality.
