{"id":100,"date":"2015-06-21T08:54:42","date_gmt":"2015-06-21T08:54:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogenglish.fedele.org\/?p=100"},"modified":"2019-12-03T15:39:52","modified_gmt":"2019-12-03T15:39:52","slug":"first-latin-american-conference-for-the-teaching-of-spanish-and-chinese","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fedele.org\/en\/first-latin-american-conference-for-the-teaching-of-spanish-and-chinese\/","title":{"rendered":"First Latin American Conference for the teaching of Spanish and Chinese"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/fedele.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/china-baires.png\" alt=\"First Latin American Conference for the teaching of Spanish and Chinese\" width=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>First Latin American Conference for the teaching of Spanish and Chinese<\/strong> has been announced and will take place on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of September in Buenos Aires, Argentina.<\/p>\n<p>The conference is aimed at researchers, academics, representatives of international institutions and organizations, language teachers, teachers of all levels, undergraduate students and post-graduates and the general public.\u00a0 It is a wonderful opportunity to get to know at first-hand the situation of a key sub-sector \u2013 the Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language to Chinese speakers.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>aim of the conference<\/strong> is to analyse the situation regarding the teaching and learning of Chinese and of Spanish to Chinese speakers.\u00a0 It is the first step towards the creation of a space for dialogue which will allow information to be combined, experiences shared and an analysis of personal and general problems.\u00a0 From here, areas for future research, action and collaboration can be developed<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>main topics<\/strong> to be dealt with at the conference are as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The development and implementation of Spanish programmes directed at Chinese speakers in different contexts \u2013 business, academic, school.<\/li>\n<li>The development and implementation of Chinese programmes aimed at native Spanish speakers in private language schools, universities and primary and secondary schools.<\/li>\n<li>The situation and analysis of Chinese immigration in Latin America.<\/li>\n<li>Linguistic policy for the teaching of Spanish in the context of total immersion and of Chinese as a foreign language at all the different educational levels.<\/li>\n<li>Teaching and professional qualifications for the specific teaching of Spanish to Chinese speakers and of Chinese to Spanish speakers.<\/li>\n<li>Teacher training for teaching students of all levels whose first language is Chinese (or one of its varieties) and who are in class with native Spanish speakers.\n<p>For more information please see the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.clepec.curso.unc.edu.ar\/\"><strong>CLEPEC webpage<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The First Latin American Conference for the teaching of Spanish and Chinese has been announced and will take place on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of September in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
