Manual for the preparation of the CCSE

A large number of our federated centers have the CCSE Examination Center seal and at FEDELE we support this test, which is necessary to obtain the Spanish nationality.

For this reason, at FEDELE we are concerned that the candidates prepare themselves in the best possible way for the exam and today we bring you important information: the manual for the preparation of the CCSE.

This document is published by the Instituto Cervantes every year and in 2020 the number of questions has increased by 25% compared to 2019. The structure of the guide is as follows:
  • Task 1: There are 10 multiple choice questions with three possible options. Only one is correct. It focuses on knowledge of the government, state powers and institutions, fundamental laws and mechanisms of citizen participation. Information about the duties and rights that Spanish nationality entails.
  • Task 2: It consists of 3 questions where short statements of the true/false type are presented. Knowledge of the Government, powers and institutions of the State, fundamental laws and mechanisms of citizen participation. Information about the application for nationality and the duties and rights it entails.
  • Task 3: 2 multiple choice questions with three possible answer options, with possible visual support based on a geographical map. Knowledge of the territorial organization and physical and political geography of Spain.
  • Task 4: 3 multiple choice questions with three possible options. Questions or statements about traditions, art, culture and relevant Spanish historical facts.
  • Task 5: It consists of 7 multiple choice questions with three possible answers each. The candidate must select the correct answer. Understanding of different aspects of daily life and behavior in society. Information about administrative procedures in Spain.
