Instagram is, without a doubt, one of the social networks to have grown the most in the last few years. This application for mobile phones, also accessible on web navigators, allows users to share photos and short videos (up to 15 seconds) and also to vote, tag and comment on the proposals of other participants.
It’s strange that Instagram which has appeared relatively recently has already overtaken older and more traditional networks like Flickr. More images are uploaded on Instagram than on other digital networks like Twitter.
Probably Instagram’s success lies in its graphics and especially in its use of retro and vintage filters. This success has forced businesses and brands to design and implement a digital marketing strategy adapted to the specific environment of Instagram.
