During the FEDELE schools convention which was held a few weeks ago in Madrid,
an agreement was signed between the Servicio Internacional de Evaluación de la Lengua Española (SIELE) and our Federation. The agreement, which was signed by Maricarmen Timor as the president of FEDELE and Sara Alegría as the representative of SIELE, will facilitate schools which are members of the Federation becoming SIELE examination centres.
The SIELE exam certifies the level of competence in Spanish using digital media and is aimed at both students and professionals.
The SIELE has been developed by the Instituto Cervantes and by various Hispanic universities – (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Universidad de Salamanca, Universidad de Buenos Aires). The support from these institutions means that the tests have been developed with good practice and a high quality standard and with the use of different types of linguistics.
